So-- after spending a good portion of the early winter paying tribute to New England in the snow... and ice and lots of ice, I have to say.. I am really looking forward to Spring!
I remember Spring- like it was yesterday, out in the warmth of the sun, observing Nature at it's best... budding trees, birds singing, muddy roads for Spring walks.
I can tell you I am READY for it to return!
Along with the excitement of the changing season is that for Spring Art Exhibitions and new art opportunities... I really cannot wait!
Meanwhile I took out my paints & pastels too... created seven new works celebrating the winter season... and started the eight... I cannot finish it it is just too darned cold! More ice tonight they say BRRR......
I need the end of winter if you see a groundhog please put in a good word for me. I long for enjoyable outdoor painting- without many layers of clothes, without fingerless gloves and cold toes! If there is anything that makes me feel older than my age it is painting in winter!
So help me concentrate on bringing us all a warm and glorious Spring season.... to motivate my thirst for color and expression!

I was pleased to have 2 recent works in the "Monadnock Arts" Auction in Jaffrey, NH this last week . It always spurs my creativity when my creations find a new home...

I hope to see you out in the art community this Spring, Summer & Fall!
Now - on to warmer colors!
